"This one really takes me back. It was 1972 and I'm 12 years old at the music village store here in St. Louis. I'm at the check out counter buying my Humble Pie record and to my surprise, sitting on the counter were a pile of these cool bowie patches. I snapped up a few and proceeded to place them on any and all denim items that I owned at the time." - Fan recollection

This Anabas necklace shows Bowie in 1973 Aladdin Sane makeup wearing rarely seen black lipstick and eye-liner. The gold-painted (and on occasions glued) circle on his forehead was an astral sphere and created by makeup artist Pierre La Roche (who later appeared in the Rocky Horror Picture Show).
